Power Smoothie
Pick-me-up or wake-me-up. Smoothie equally effective as both.
Recipe Information:

Ingredients:
- 1/2 banana
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 1/2 cup fruit juice
- 1 Tbls. molasses
- 1 tsp. wheat germ.
- Strawberries
- Raspberries
Method:
In a blender, the banana, yogurt (I like vanilla flavored), fruit juice (i.e. orange, cranberry, etc.).
For added nutrition add the molasses and the wheat germ.
Blend until smooth. Then add frozen fruit, i.e. strawberries, raspberries, etc., one at a time, until smoothie is consistency you desire.
The basic recipe is: ice, fruit, yoghurt, juice and/or milk. (I usually stick to juice, but sometimes add just a splash of milk to smooth it out.)
